One year ago on February 6 we arrived in Mississippi...well...almost! We lived in multiple hotels in Mississippi and Tennessee for the next twelve days!
One year ago on February 16 we closed on our house in Mississippi and moved in!
I still can't believe that God blessed us with such a beautiful home! Whenever we come home from being gone a few days you can still smell that new house smell! I love it.
We now have a year's worth of memories of living in the Mid-South. It still doesn't feel completely like home but our house finally feels like home. I have made great progress in the decorating department thanks to the help of my sister while she was here. She helped me paint and finish an idea I started on a wall in my living room. My mom helped me hang curtains in my room and in the boys room. I still have to buy and hang curtains for my living room and Abigail's room. I am thankful it feels like home. I am thankful we haven't had to move for a whole year.
Mark and I have been talking about how much God has blessed us with bringing us here. His job is going well and it seems that he is a great fit for the office here. He has had some great experiences and is being stretched to do things he hasn't done before. We are both thrilled that God brought him to this job and that he is growing and learning in his field.
I can't believe it's been a year...time has flown but most of all it has been a year of blessings and mercy showered down on us from God!
